1.
After the fact When you come home A broken pact You sleep alone Into the black A head of stone A heart attack A cover blown Before the dawn A minor tone The chance is gone Leave me alone After the song I'm staying home You weren't wrong Cut to the bone Blank stares are haunting me The lost cares befalling me The white stairs are calling me When you were wanting me Blank stares were haunting me The branches of the tree No I was never free To love
2.
I couldn't let you go You closed the door on me I was hoping maybe we could talk If you left it open Inside together we could walk Home If you left it open Maybe We could walk through I leave no door for you Won't let you go You won't go through If you don't know what's even there I leave no door for you Won't let you through These arms
3.
Be Who 03:22
It made no sense The voices ringing The pain was dense And I was singing I tried to go into Another time and space I burned it down to find I'm trapped inside a face I was Alone Myself No
4.
I never want to float into the other side I want to be alive Otherwise the broken ties Burning up the smoking lies Are circumscribed I never want to float into the other side Oh I don’t want to die Visualize the tissue cries Filling up the fissured skies Atomized You know I wanted to leave this place. I always thought the walls around me were tying me down. I always knew if I could ever… if I could ever break free… if I could just… I knew… I knew if I stood there long enough, if I closed my eyes the whole thing would just go away. Well sometimes you don’t want it to go away. You want it to linger. You want to say yeah, I’m here.
5.
You’re talking to the wrong man Can’t give you what I ain’t got Not hiding it in my hand But I can tell that you won’t stop I’m looking at a color Shudder, shudder It’s burning a hole right through my head I’m looking at another Duck and cover A stray thought strolls into my head A star A scent You’re talking to the wrong man I’m looking at a color Shudder, shudder It’s burning a hole right through my head
6.
Floorboard 01:32
There was nothing to do There was no one to see Just silence and empty space Uncompressed But I had to say something There was cadence to fill Empty words to speak Sign and signifier I was all alone You and me Floorboard

Godhead 01:58
8.
I was just a painted mask A carved trunk Rings exposed If you could see beneath the act If you knew Been gone so long I'm going stale I was never alone For real Under the hood There's nothing there Just skin and bones When you took it off I was a little scared Pull the drawstrings back Promise not to stare The curtain's up The costume's off You were there But I was not
9.
Hive Mind 02:25
I couldn't close my eyes for you I couldn't forget what I knew
10.
Voided 02:14
Staring out The winds are changing every moment Looking out You wouldn't know if you'd been shown it Blowing out The fire's gone, yeah someone stole it Burning out The chance was there but now you've blown it Shooting out What you were once now has been voided Tuning out On and on till you've destroyed it

Beneath the flag of us You turned it inside out And draped it overhead I caught a glimpse of the hive It was crystalline and bright But not at all for real There's the rub It was hiding in plain sight Coursing through your skull To be or not Oh it was not a question, no I had to live for you I do
14.
I couldn't let you go You closed the door on me I was hoping maybe we could talk If you left it open Inside together we could walk Home If you left it open Maybe We could walk through I leave no door for you Won't let you go You won't go through If you don't know what's even there I leave no door for you Won't let you through These arms

Rockets 02:02
I was feeling numb at the riverbank Thumbs up to the rockets flying overhead I dig I'm all about it Breathing in Your exhausted fumes I was feeling cold beneath the covers Sold out years ago Just never got my paycheck Truth be told It wasn't Latch on Don't break up

about

When once there was a hive in the darkness of the rooftops, Gotham sung out for a new hero and two men stood up to answer the call. Transfixed by visions of lifeless faces, following the pulsing beats and clicks of the city's rotten core, these men set out to discover the frequency of Earth, which they decided was about six hertz.

These men were not the heroes the city needed or even the heroes it deserved. They just were.
